This bold and precious ring was crafted from two rings both from the Sassanid period (Persia, 6-7th century).  The motif on the top represents a warrior. The decorative arches, typical of jewelry of the period are reminiscent of classical era architecture. The ring is  accented with large granulation on the bezel. Size 8 1/2.
