Inspired by an ancient greek coin from the 1st century BCE (2100 years ago) of one of the most important Roman Gods: Roma, the personification of the city as a female deity and more broadly, the roman state. Distinctively, she is depicted wearing a military helmet demonstrating Rome's postion as protector of the cities and lands under her rule. Wearing coins is said to inspire luck and good fortune.
